On daily rituals

I try to get out in my garden everyday, I always love to have flowers in my home! They ground me as it is an act of doing something for myself but everyone else around me can enjoy as well. Some other personal rituals that ground me are moments with my dog, some journaling as well as coffee & dates which remind me of my Persian Heritage,” she shares.

On where rituals matter most

I love to host celebrations at my home, it’s a chance for me to go crazy with flowers and showing my love! Big celebrations heighten their significance, I think of the flowers as painting: creating beautiful colorful arrangements that radiate beautiful energy.

On place

I am a native New Yorker, raised in the UES and currently live in Brooklyn - I have lived here all my life! I love the mix of cultures and flavors in NY, and the energy of the city - especially since I am a night owl, it’s the city that never sleeps! I have always loved all the arts in NY and the inspiration for creative freedom. I am glad to have memories of the 80’s as well as my family still living here today. This city has nurtured me through childhood, teenage years and into my career, and I am forever thankful to have such an inspiring place to call my home!
