On place

My home is scattered - but of course, there can be more than one. I was born in Canada; my family roots are Serbian, and I’ve built a home in London. I can identify with each place as they’ve individually moulded me in their own special ways. One doesn’t exist without the other and the relationships I’ve cultivated with the people I’ve met in these and other places, all brought a multitude of unique experiences and perceptions of the world, expressed through music, culture, and art which has been incredibly inspiring. An open mind and heart, always.

On spiritual protection

Jewelry—especially the heirlooms passed down by the women in my life—my mother, my grandmother, and my great-grandmother, have always held a special place in my heart. They're the connecting thread between generations. A reminder of my family heritage. I carry these women with me in my daily life in a way of spiritual protection. I can look down at a ring that’s passed through their hands as a symbol of their wisdom. It's really grounding to consider the longevity of this connected experience, and it empowers me to move through the world.
