Sparked by ancient Mesopotamian rites and platonic modernist form, Oera defies one meaning, material, or function. She stands instead as a force in constant revolution. For Edition 03, Tabayer seizes upon that energy and the sheer ends of Inanna’s knot find new ways to touch, its tips arcing to form a hoop, weighted with pave diamonds like the flowering ends of the reeds. One end of the Oera knot finds synergy with another, strengthening the protective bond that defines the power of an amulet.
